Tutor's Brief Introduction


I had taught students from K2 to O levels. My specialties are English, creative writing and Maths. Under my tutelage,  these students had improved (just to name a few).

P6 Math- D (prelim) to B (Psle)
P6 Sci- B (prelim) to A (Psle)

Mandy was the student who had straight As, tutored by me in Math and Science.

I use a student -centered approach.
I do not just drill the weaker students, but have also explained key concepts to them.

It is important to remember that different types of materials are read at different speeds. A novel is faster reading than a textbook. Time yourself at the beginning of a semester after reading one chapter of your textbook. That will give you an idea of how long you need to plan to study throughout the year. Explore A Child’s Learning Potential With Private Tuition

Jackie Wong   M ost people conveniently associate the need for  private tuition  with poor academic results. In actual fact, there are good reasons why outstanding students should engage themselves in tuition sessions as well. While these children have demonstrated their academic excellence through their examination results, relying purely in learning in class can severely limit their learning potential. In a classroom setting, due to the high students to teacher ratio, teachers are often forced to progress the syllabus at a pace that allows breathing space for poorer students to catch up.
